  I've been taking my shoes and boots to Cannery Shoe Repair for years. The photos are a pair of boots that had a half sole replaced, and same with a pair of flats. They make it so your shoes can last a lifetime instead of one or maybe two years! I also take my stilettos there for new tips. All leather footwear comes back even shinier than when I bought them in the first place! Highly recommended - this business is amazing and will save you thousands of dollars because you won't have to replace your classic footwear!!

  They phoned me a few months later and assured me they would keep them till I got back. I reclaimed them a year later, without the ticket, and the owner and his clerk were delighted to see me and we spent a happy time together while they cleaned and dusted my repaired sandals, couldn't have been better or nicer people.

  To add insult to injury, the price charged was almost double of what we've paid elsewhere for a job well done.

  Never again. I took my husband's brand new shoes in to be customized, giving the clerk specific instructions and requested it by X date. I also fb messaged pictures of another pair so they would have an example. A few days before the day requested, I called and was told a later date. Fine. We then go to pickup the shoes around lunch time on the day specified and they were not ready. And, the alterations were being done in the way I specifically said not to, the message with pictures I sent had not even been viewed.

  I left a pair of sandals to be repaired, while on vacation, then I forgot them .
