  When I questioned the damage, the explanation given was that in order to size the ring heat had to be applied and the heat damaged the stone.

  I took in my class ring for what I thought was a simple sizing. I figured the work should take a few days at most. After almost three weeks I finally phoned them as I thought they might have lost my phone number.

  When I went to pick it up I discovered that the stone (which is synthetic) looked like it had been 'cooked.' The color had changed from a sparkly sky blue to a muddy greenish blue that looks like there is algae underneath it!

  Have been in to see Don a few times. He did a beautiful job re-clawing my great grandmothers ring and he is currently designing a gift for a birthday present out if 14k gold. He is easy to work with, professional and friendly. I will keep coming back ...!
