    I have ordered from Carl's for years but my last experience will definitely stop me from ever ordering again. I ordered flowers for Mother's Day and shortly after they were delivered my dad called to say the looked like they were dying. He called me again the next day to say he pulled out 4 dead flowers and threw them away. I emailed Carl's to let them know and heard no response. I called two days later, by which time all the flowers were dead, I explained the story to the lady that answered and she kindly apologized and said they would send out a fresh bunch the next day. It has now been three weeks and the flowers were never replaced.

    I was very disappointed with the service at Carl’s flowers, one of my best friends mother passed away, I wanted to send flowers to her as I was unable to attend the service on the coast. I pain stakenly went through their web site and found two arrangements, pure pleasures and purple pleasures, I .iked the low profile of the purple pleasure arrangement but wanted it in the pure pleasure co.ors, soft champagne, peach and a little white. I called directly and spoke with the lady on the phone, I was very explicit in what I wanted. She-even confirmed that I wanted the low profile with Champaign soft colours. I paid for the flowers with delivery and was told hey would go out the next day. Apperantly they don’t deliver to my friends area? Instead of calling me and asking how I wanted to handle this they called my friend said that there was an arrangement for pick up that they were to deliver te flowers but she was out of their delivery area, who picks up thief own sympathy flowers! she said her husband could pick them up on his way home. They called her a second time and asked if he could not pick them up until the following day late in the day as they were waiting for their flower delivery. When I called them to ask if the flowers were delivered a few days later I was informed of all what had happened! I stated that they should have contacted me with the changes not my friend, I could have called her husband, on top of that they had already charged me the delivery fee, so they took it upon themselves to just add a couple more flowers to make up the difference. As I have purchased flowers for friends before and have not been very impressed, I asked the lady on the phone yo send me a picture of the arrangement. It was very nice, but not at all what I ordered. It was all white round and tall, no champagne flowers or any other colour, they stuffed large hydrangeas in it, when I called back and asked what happened to the arrangement I had ordered they said, it was a lot larger with more flowers in it. It would be very nice when you spend a lot of time scoping out all the arrangements on someone’s web site and they desire what they want to make anyway. Very disappointed!

    So in summary - I believe we have satisfied all requirements of the order and we will not be replacing it or providing a refund.

    The arrangement was definitely to value - the photo on line is one possible arrangement that could be made to conform to the written description.

    A friend ordered flowers from calgary for a 92 year old friend. Paid for a specific arrangement with chocolates and delivery. They did not deliver on specified day so we picked them up. They could not find it...found it out in their van. Had to go back next day for sub par chocolates and told them bouquet did not look at all like picture ordered and as we had to pick up because they were so busy he should not be charged delivery. They agreed. Then phoned back elderly friend to state they would not refund delivery charge despite our driving to pick up and that her flowers were frozen from sitting out in their delivery van. Shoddy service from a once reputable company. Shame on them for ripping people off for services not rendered. Will never use them again.

    We used Carl's for our wedding and they were awesome! Sheryn was so helpful and her suggestions were so creative... like adding gold glitter to our bouquets and centerpieces! We were so happy with how everything turned out. They also delivered them to our venue nice and early. It's been almost a week and our centerpieces still look beautiful! Thank you Sheryn and all the staff at Carl's!

    Pretty disappointed. I had originally left a stellar review on yelp because I had called before the flowers were actually delivered to change the delivery date and the man I spoke to was just lovely! I really wish my experience had ended there and everyone lived happily ever after. However, what actually ended up arriving was not what I ordered and nothing like the picture on the website. The arrangement that arrived was a quarter of the size and not at all the same flowers. When I contacted the store to ask what happened and try to rectify the situation the manager flat out refused. In fact, this is the word-for-word reply that I received:

    The colors and design are similar to the photo. We used beautiful, fresh flowers which we had available.
